Some more excellent treasures!
Here is a tommy lighter from the Forties which was mass-produced from the 1930s. Bought at South Sea at a festival a couple of weeks ago; it was looking worse for wear but shined up lovely with a bit of polishing.
Went to a Spring Fair and came back with lots of goodies including home-made cakes.
There was at this jewellery stall brimming over like Aladdin’s Cave which was being sold at bargain prices so we sieved through, buy to keep and buy to sell on at a later date. I then looked at what nice beads and bits were about to dismantle and reuse for new designs.
Here’s a stunning blue diamond cut glass beaded necklace and earrings.
Necklace and sterling silver bracelet
No your eyes aren’t deceiving you!
It’s not just any old necklace (unfortunately not gold but) it is Christian Dior very collectable and wearable. I think this has to be the most valuable buy of the day!

Now all I need to do, is find an outfit to go with it. Now that should be the other way round, surely!
Oh well I’m breaking fashion traditions, it feels good to be different!
Here is a selection of random pieces that need some cleaning and restoring but they were such good prices it would of been daft to leave them behind to regret later.
Here are some colourful beads that will soon be made into new designs which I will share with you when completed.
You’ve got some gorgeous treasure there! Kitty’s got very good taste too!
